Shipping policy
Ethnic Soul ships handwoven sarees from Varanasi to addresses across India and worldwide. This page explains how long orders take, what they cost, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.
Dispatch
Orders are packed and dispatched within 3 to 5 business days of payment being confirmed. Business days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays in India.
Because our sarees are handwoven in small numbers, a piece is occasionally being finished at the loom when you order it. If your order needs longer than five days, we will tell you by email or WhatsApp with a revised date, and you may cancel for a full refund if the wait does not suit you.

These are estimates given by our courier partners, not guarantees. Festive periods, weather, strikes and customs inspections can extend them.
Shipping charges
Shipping within India is complimentary on all orders.
International shipping is charged at checkout and calculated by destination and weight. The amount shown at checkout is the full shipping cost payable to us.
Customs, duties and taxes on international orders
Prices on this website are exclusive of any import duty, customs charge, or local tax levied by the destination country. These are set by your government, not by Ethnic Soul, and are payable by you to the courier or customs authority on delivery.
We are required to declare the true value of goods on the shipping documents and cannot mark parcels as gifts or under-declare their value. If a parcel is refused because duties were not paid, any return shipping and charges incurred will be deducted from your refund.
Tracking
You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order is dispatched. If you have not received one within five business days of ordering, write to ethnic0203@gmail.com and we will follow it up.
Addresses
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing your order. We dispatch to the address given at checkout and cannot change it once a parcel has left us. Orders returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address can be re-sent, with re-shipping charged at cost.
Packaging
Every saree is folded in tissue, wrapped in a protective sleeve and sealed in a tamper-evident outer parcel. If your parcel arrives open, torn or resealed, please refuse the delivery and tell us the same day. Photographs of the packaging help us raise a claim with the courier.
Lost or delayed parcels
If tracking has not moved for more than seven days, contact us and we will open an investigation with the courier. Couriers generally require 15 to 21 days before declaring a domestic parcel lost, and longer internationally. Once a parcel is formally declared lost, we will send a replacement where the same saree is still available, or issue a full refund.
