The Story
Mashroo was engineered around a rule: silk was not to touch the skin. So weavers built a cloth with silk on the face and cotton on the reverse — satin lustre outside, breathable cotton within. Centuries later it is simply a very comfortable silk. Gold zari runs through the weave. For festive wear that has to last a whole day.
