The Story
The thing about Chanderi is that it hides nothing. The weave is fine enough to be seen through, so embroidery on it is judged from both sides. Thread work here is placed with that in mind — restrained, evenly worked, nothing crowded. Anokhi means singular. Light, formal enough for a ceremony, comfortable enough for a full day of one.

Woven by hand, so no two pieces are identical. Slight irregularities in the weave are the mark of a handloom saree rather than a flaw.

Saree approximately 5.5 m long and 1.06 m wide. Blouse piece approximately 0.8 m. Measurements are approximate and vary slightly between handwoven pieces.
Care
Dry clean only. Store folded in a muslin cloth away from sunlight, dust and damp, and refold every few months so the creases do not set. Iron on the reverse and never directly on the zari. Keep perfume and deodorant off the cloth.
